4.4.2 Leakage. On a flat, clean, dry surface the sample bucket shall be filled to the rim with water. The bucket shall be allowed to stand for a minimum of 15 minutes. At the end of this time the bucket and the surface it has been sitting on shall be examined. Any evidence of leakage shall fail the sample.
4.4.3 Use. On a flat hard floor, 10 quarts (9.46 L) of water shall be placed into each sample bucket. A cotton string floor mop of dry head weight 14 +/- 2 ounces (435 +/-62 g.) shall be thoroughly wetted in the bucket, introducing the mop through the wringer assembly. With one foot on the stabilizing tab, the other foot shall depress the foot lever causing the rollers to contact and squeezed from the mop head and fall back into the bucket. If the wringer assembly visibly distorts or separates in any way or if any water leaks out of the bucket, the sample shall fail. If any portion of the wringer extends from the top of the bucket further than the at-rest position, or if any portion of the wringer impacts the leg of the user, the sample shall fail.
4.5 Examination for preparation for delivery. A random sample of shipping containers shall be selected from each lot for examination of the unit, intermediate, and shipping containers (as applicable) for conformance with the packaging, packing, and marking required in the contract or order. Samples shall be selected in accordance with inspection Level S-2, AQL 6.5 defects per hundred units. A sample unit shall be one shipping container.
5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY
